Lori Waters is an associate with Kuchler Polk Schell Weiner & Richeson, LLC. Ms. Waters is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2004, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law New Orleans.
Ms. Waters began her legal career as a judicial law clerk at the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. Subsequently, she practiced in the areas of Toxic Tort, Products Liability, Premises Liability, Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage, Uninsured Motorist Coverage, Medical Malpractice, Redhibition Defense, Estate Planning, and General Business. Ms. Waters also has trial experience in Personal Injury Litigation.
Ms. Waters is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Waters is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Bar Association, DRI, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, A.P. Tureaud American Inn of Court, and The Young Leadership Council.
Ms. Waters currently practices in the areas of Environmental Law, Toxic Tort Litigation, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage, and General Civil Litigation.
On November 29, 2011, Ms. Waters was nominated to become a member of the Board of Directors of PINK House, Inc., a non-profit, personal development academy for girls in the Greater New Orleans area, established with the goal of developing leaders in a safe and open environment where the girls can be inspired to grow.
